Written, Directed, Produced, Edited and Sung by Mitchell Moffit.
Based on the “Can-Can” music, by Offenbach.

LYRICS:

There’s Hydrogen and Helium
Then Lithium, Beryllium
Boron, Carbon everywhere
Nitrogen all through the air

With Oxygen so you can breathe
And Fluorine for your pretty teeth
Neon to light up the signs
Sodium for salty times

Magnesium, Aluminium, Silicon
Phosphorus, then Sulfur, Chlorine and Argon
Potassium, and Calcium so you’ll grow strong
Scandium, Titanium, Vanadium and Chromium and Manganese

CHORUS
This is the Periodic Table
Noble gas is stable
Halogens and Alkali react agressively
Each period will see new outer shells
While electrons are added moving to the right

Iron is the 26th
Then Cobalt, Nickel coins you get
Copper, Zinc and Gallium
Germanium and Arsenic

Selenium and Bromine film
While Krypton helps light up your room
Rubidium and Strontium then Yttrium, Zirconium

Niobium, Molybdenum, Technetium
Ruthenium, Rhodium, Palladium
Silver-ware then Cadmium and Indium
Tin-cans, Antimony then Tellurium and Iodine and Xenon and then Caesium and…

Barium is 56 and this is where the table splits
Where Lanthanides have just begun
Lanthanum, Cerium and Praseodymium

Neodymium’s next too
Promethium, then 62’s
Samarium, Europium, Gadolinium and Terbium
Dysprosium, Holmium, Erbium, Thulium
Ytterbium, Lutetium

Hafnium, Tantalum, Tungsten then we’re on to
Rhenium, Osmium and Iridium
Platinum, Gold to make you rich till you grow old
Mercury to tell you when it’s really cold

Thallium and Lead then Bismuth for your tummy
Polonium, Astatine would not be yummy
Radon, Francium will last a little time
Radium then Actinides at 89

REPEAT CHORUS

Actinium, Thorium, Protactinium
Uranium, Neptunium, Plutonium
Americium, Curium, Berkelium
Californium, Einsteinium, Fermium
Mendelevium, Nobelium, Lawrencium

He said NaBrO

tntman d says:

why did they put the silicon picture i was thinkin about showing this to my
science teacher

Duncan Shober says:

In Science, one thing we learned was the Periodic Table. We memorized 30
elements in the periodic table and their symbols (Example: Gold = Au). In
this video it goes over ALL the periodic table elements and symbols. It
also goes over the uses of some of the elements. The most important use of
this video is it helps people remember the elements in the periodic table.

Bruh says:

1.7k people are pissed off teachers who showed this to their class and
silicon popped up.

Sarah Geo says:

What is the music?? Like, its quite famous. Does anyone know its name??

Laura K. says:

Tommorow I have test from periodic table history and everything hope this
helps me :)

Alessandro Littara says:

Hwangsta Hwang says:

I MEMORIZED the first 25 so far… YASS….

Layla Naylor says:

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! This is so good! im in year 7 and im learning this
song and my teacher is so proud of me! thank you for making this a thing!

Rachael Slaven says:

Just memorized all 118 elements, bare in mind I’m still 12 years old. Bet
my chemistry teacher can’t do that! #proud

Did anyone else notice But The Symbole For Mercury Is Wrong Its Supposed to
Be ‘Hg’ Instead of ‘Mg’…LOL

UMA ANKITHA says:
aishwarya.m prakash says:

now learn the periodic table in easy manner….

I can name all 721 Pokémon but not this shit? :(

Davvan says:

I didn’t know “Tincan” & “silverware” were in the periodic table.
Yep, that actually say it in this song.

Periodic Table Song, this is now stuck in my head! I can’t get it out.

Tyuuhjiiktwo :D says:

Well, I can now remember the first three B)

Nathaniel Tang says:

When I saw that Oxygen and Magnesium dating, I was just like OMG.

Love The PIF says:

Neon walks into a bar. The bartender says: “Hey, we don’t serve to noble
gases here.” Neon doesn’t react.

OtakuWolf says:

Omg a dude from my school has been singing it non-stop and he’s doing it in
the talent show! lol! i never new it was from AsapSCIENCE it kind of makes
it more cool >-<

Oscar Castle-Roper says:

So many scientific names, helium scandium oxygen hydrogen magnesium mercury
rutherfordium iodine sodium argon gold silver bronze osmium phosphorus
beryllium boron carbon neon titanium……..

Andrew Scratch says:

The only good Canadian product. sigh

quanta407 says:

I have one for everybody, it is much simpler. There are up quarks, down
quarks, strange and charmed quarks, also top and bottom quarks. Then there
are the charged leptons which are electrons, muons, and tauons; the neutral
leptons are the light, middle, heavy, neutrinos (or electron, muon, and
tauon neutrinos if you prefer). That completes the fundamental fermions,
now for the elementary bosons we have 8 gluons, the W+ and W- and the Z0
“pronounced z-naught”, the photon, the recently discovered Higgs boson, and
the yet to be observed graviton. That is the true periodic table of the
elements. Much easier to learn.

ANNAMARIA GRUOSSO says:

HOW ABOUT VERITASIUM?
(Z=i)

Robert Maitino says:

Pfft, theres 120elements. Heres the last 2: Ununennium (Uue) and Unbinilium
(Ubn).

my favorite song

Emily Sorano says:

Memorizing this is the goal of my life.

mewantbrains says:

Anyone remember when we could post a video response to this?

Kate An says:

My god. Two guys in my math class were singing this and I was getting
ticked off. Then I realized that I could memorize the song and troll the
crap out of them!!

Alec Yang says:

helpful

Hankdatank12345 says:

I memorized this for fun without the song. It would have been nice knowing
about the song when i was memorizing it.

THIS VIDEO SUCKS!!!!

Thiyagu Hermijanto says:

made my chemistry a bit easier???

Dong Becky says:

one of my friends remembered almost all of it after less than 1 hour

Clement KWOK says:

Why were elements like “hydrogen” and “argon” wrote with a red marker,
“mercury” wrote with a blue marker, but the rest is wrote with a black one?
Does that have something to do with the element itself?

blake dean says:

what about dubnium?

MoochagraProphet says:

I made a chemistry joke once, I got no reaction :)
