Soo, this is way too hard for me, I guess I’ll go watch a video on how to
hold a pencil.
So is there any particular reason why mine looks nothing like hers, even
though I followed the video practically to each pencil stroke?
.3. I’m just beginning, and I’ll be honest, I suck. I can’t even get a good
jaw shape or get the eyes to an even level, but I’m just beginning.
Everyone says that practice makes perfect, and I can’t help but feel at
least a little bit of pride looking at my badly drawn manga girl, because
it’s by far the best thing I’ve drawn x). Thnx for the tutorial doe

omg i had to like draw the 2nd eye like a billion times to get it right but
the first one i aced it right away….. maybe cuz im left handed… i
dunno. After 3 minutes into the video i already found out that my eyes look
weird O.O how do you do that!!! plus by the end of the character my eraser
was worn out lol
This is hard I can’t even draw the circle
I hate how people are making fun of their own drawings. I mean i’m not
trying to sound rude but, you can’t expect your drawing to be perfect at
first. You have to try drawing art over and over, and soon you’ll become
AMAZING. It doesn’t just happen all at once. It takes a while to get really
REALLY good at art, possibly years! I’m sorry if i offended anyone, but
this is just my opinion. That’s all I had to say.
Maybe a few tips on doing a drawing tutorial. (Note: I’m not an expert
drawer.)
Firstly, you can’t just tell people, “OK, now draw this part” without
telling them how that part is drawn. That gives them the impression they
should copy what your doing. Which they can’t do because their new, and
your an expert. Secondly, You should also tell them how high/low something
should start or finish. Otherwise, their shape sizes will all be out of
whack.Thirdly, if you don’t feel like making a whole new video with all of
these steps, make new videos and link them in this one when that topic
comes up. Like when you start the eyes, link to a video you did on eyes in
an annotation. As you can see in the comments, people are doing bad trying
to copy you, and have been discouraged from drawing because it doesn’t look
like yours. Or it looks terrible.

result looks really amazing! I’m just learning to draw manga characters,
it’s harder than I thought it would be, but I love the way they look so I’m

I admit it… My first manga looks like shit!
In the beginning I was full of confidence that I would make it sure not
with the first try or tenth. So I started to draw step by step, actually
before even drawing this one I tried to learn how to draw the eyes first
and it went pretty well- somehow, anyway my first and biggest problem was
that I couldnt even make a circle YES A CIRCLE!!! Well It took me a lot of
times to draw it but eventually I did it- somehow. The jaw, neck and the
shoulders went pretty well and THEN I stuck at the eyes. Its not like it
was difficult It was very difficult. No matter how many times I tried I
failed and now I fell like shit. I need a coffee….
Draw a circle?! XD my circle is like a potatoe…..or an egg….. :P

drew that looked good was riped to shreads now I can not draw it again ;-;
First of all I respect your talent. But you don’t have to make every shape
perfect, some people actually don’t have the same eye shapes. Specially for
tutorial it’s kind of… I don’t know how to describe my feeling when I am
watching it that you make a lot of erasures just by drawing the line of the
face from the beginning. When you are starting to draw leave everything as
it is then you can correct everything later when everything is complete.
Too much erasing. Just saying. But I like your techniques.
What kind of pencil is that it’s so smooth?
Wow everyone loves drawing like me then sometimes when I showed my drawing
to my friends, some of them were like o.o wow your drawing look like anime
then that ggave me an idea since I extremely love anime and manga I started
to draw a lot and sometimes when I’m bored I just draw something on my
sketch book [which everyone thought it was a diary xD]

girl, so it was a lot easier for me. But I understand that it may be harder
