Hey guys! It’s been a while and I haven’t been able to reply to everyone’s
comment due to the fact that I’ve recently transitioned into my first unit
so I haven’t had time to make a video. I’ve noticed that a lot of people
think I’m tracing over someone else’s art work and I would like to address
that.
When I start a doodle page, I like to draw it in pencil first so that when
it comes to start recording, I’m not pausing every few seconds trying to
think of something to draw. Plus I can stop any time and continue on later.
It makes the editing process much easier as well. I don’t do that for my
doodle flowers because I can easily replicate them in pen.
Obviously I wouldn’t post on Youtube if this video wasn’t my own creation
and I’d like to thank those that have stood up for me. I will be posting
more videos in the future, so please stay tuned, subscribe and thank you so
much for watching!

Hi. Just wanted to say, I really like this piece. I “always” draw my
outline in pencil first. My drawings would look awful if I didn’t (though
some people would say they look awful anyway ;-)). I wanted ask, what kind
of pen you used for this?

I think the way you do it makes complete sense to me. Beautiful!
Awesome!! I never thought of tracing it in pencil before hand and then
filling in with pen. That would actually make the final project so much
cleaner too. I love watching your process. Sorry if these questions were
asked already: do you just use a regular #2 pencil or a specific drawing
pencil? What is your pen? How often do you go through your pens? I wear
mine out quickly lol

Wow. Never thought you were tracing someone else’s drawings. But I do love
your drawings! What kind of pen are you using. I have been doing this for
years since I was a kid either ball point or pencil. I did not know what
zen tangle or tangle anything was. Beautiful piece! Again… do you use a

Why do people keep saying this is traced? It’s drawn in pencil first, that
doesn’t mean it’s been traced. Most people draw in pencil before applying
ink because it’s much easier to correct a mistake made with pencil.
Any way, this is beautifully done :)
