Brent is an exhibiting artist and sought after drawing instructor. He has studied traditional master draftsmanship, architectural drafting and illustration, master figure drawing, anatomical drawing and contemporary practices. Brent has worked with adults and children through arts and education organizations throughout California and has a series of art education videos that are broadcast nationally.
Lynette Mullen is a local freelance writer and project manager. A chance discovery of court records from 1862 ignited her passion for history; learning about the indenture of Native Americans in California during the gold rush further fueled this interest. She is honored to be able to share this imformation with the TedX audience.

To Leonardo, it even contains more information than language, especially
written one. When you upload you even venture for something bigger than
drawing: painting. There is color, emotion, much more than maths can offer.
We are the animal that can differ the most colors. For the more complicate
problems, Leonardo used drawing, for the most complex ones, painting. For
the easier tasks he used language and maths.
