You are very talented. Excellent job!! This video really helped me

Uoy Kcus says:

hello,i have a question..I’m a beginner drawing so i want to know if i
still learn by actually draw a photo like you are doing in the video or i
can learn more by drawing from my head, because i see that is easier by
copying than actually draw from your head, i hope you get what i was trying
to communicate and good video.

Dead Light says:

It’s clear that you have talent, but you lack experience in both teaching
and the technical side of drawing. There are several singular details that
you missed from that girl’s face, as well, your explanations were not very
clear – you draw intuitively, but fail to realise the foundations that make
up realistic drawing.

MyHerpderp says:

I really struggle getting depth with shading. It always looks flat and one
dimensional. Any tips?

Lajja Raval says:

David Castro says:

Hey, great job with this! I just want to suggest for the future to to fill
in more of her face. Look at the original picture, because you will notice
that she is almost always just a little darker than the white background
behind her. on of the things that makes her so beautiful in the picture is
the deep contrast from how dark her face get to how light it gets on the
very edges of her features on the left side of her face, so really try to
use that to your advantage. If you do it right, almost all of the face
should be darker that the original shade of the paper you are using. But
other than that, this is great! your eyes in all your drawings are
outstanding, really!

Shraddha the Unicorn! says:

It’s Awesome man!!! I draw portraits too, but your precision is just…
Wow!!! Loved it!! I Have a lot to learn now!! ;))

Regina Alfnes says:

Can you show us have ti draw hair?

Margo Sulek says:

Hi!! I really like this tutorial and I have one question.
Drawing is my number 1 hobby, I often draw and sketch in my free time. The
thing is that I can never draw from my mind. I’ve practiced drawing facial
features, flowers, poses ect. form reference photos, but whenever I try to
recreate them from my mind, the drawing always loses proportion and is very
bad. I would appreciate if you gave me some advice on how can I improve my
drawing from your mind skills.
Thank you!!

Lalita Love says:

First of all, you have a beautiful natural talent!

However, if you don’t mind me giving critique, there are times you’ll tell
the viewer what you’re doing but leave out how or why. For example, drawing
a box is a great tip but positioning facial features in the actual box can
be a very tricky step some students won’t be able to follow. More likely
than not, those seeking your advice will not be as practiced as you are and
will need you to guide them, not tell them. You as the teacher will now why
or how but that’s what the student is here to learn.

It is also good to have your reference picture printed off so you can show
the students why you drew a particular detail somewhere such as the eye, so
you can indicate to your reference while teaching making the lesson clearer
for the student and keeping you on track as the teacher.

Including little tips and tricks, such as mentioning what to use (a
mechanical pencil for finer details) is what sets you apart from being any
old speed drawing video.

But hey, it was still a great video and thank you so much for uploading it
(currently checking out your amazing instagram!) <3

Great drawing, I really like it. I just want to say that I think you should
make a list with the words you want to say in this video before you start
recording it… Cause it’s sounds like you don’t know what to say, you
using the same words again and again, and sometimes I don’t understand what
are you talking about…

You have an incredible natural talent. Pity you can’t put some of these
lessons on a DVD, it would be a great teaching aid to be able to follow you
step by step as I for one would learn more that way, keep up the good work.

xXDeathMetalThrasherXx says:

It takes a lot of practice to do something like this on the first sit down.
