Thank you so much for making this tutorial! I’ve never had trouble with
producing the right shapes and values in my art, but every single time, my
lines are messy, dark, sketchy, and leave graphite smudged all over the
paper and my hand. I always wondered how people drew so cleanly and
quickly–and now I know how. I haven’t even tried this out yet, but I
already know that any method that gets rid of the “chicken steps” lines I
was doing will help me immensely. I also loved your water drop tutorial.
You’re an amazing artist and teacher, thanks so much!

to go all the way basics.

I’m probably the only one, but for certain drawings, I really love the
choppy over-and-over type linework, it makes it look more genuine in some
cases.

Nevertheless, I’m very bad with clean lines anyhow, and this was very
helpful.
